Leads the organizing committee and represents that committee on the Board as a non-voting member. Organizes at least monthly calls/meetings for the organizing committee, co-ordinates all conference activities and is ultimately responsible to the Board for everything related to the conference. Must ensure that all core roles are filled (including during periods of absence by the main person) throughout the conference organization process. Must also maintain an up-to-date budget, incorporating any income from fundraising and costs from logistics, plenary speakers, social events, etc.

Responsible for organizing and designing the conference content, including the plenary speakers. The role will be responsible for soliciting abstract submissions, organizing and managing a set of reviewers, consolidating abstract scores and feedback to make decisions on approvals (with the board), coordinating with secretary/communications team to provide feedback on abstract results, and design of the schedule in coordination with conference chair and the board.

Fundraising Chair: Dr. Ashley Sitar ><> <>< Volunteer: Liz Foote
Responsible for producing sponsorship material and securing funds for the conference. This person will be responsible for reaching out to potential sponsors, and ensuring sponsorship deals are fulfilled.

Communications Chair: Kevin Connor ><> <>< Volunteer: Rosemary Hitchens

Finance Chair: Lauren Watkins
Responsible for managing conference funds including incoming sponsorships, vendor payments, and all other money-related conference matters. Provides support, as needed, to the fundraising chair and to others needing general conference support.
